So, its been a while! Christmas has been pretty much perfect, although ive had to cut off some ties that were just holding me back ready for my most brilliant decade yet. I have realised that your true family arent always those technically related to you!

For christmas i had lots of lovely things! A laptop, some gok wan bath goodies, JELLY BEANS (which i am totally addicted to) and also wii fit plus. I am so excited about that one because after tomorrow i am back on my diet, although id rather refer to it as a change of lifestyle, because i always fail when i say diet!

I am also giving up alcohol. I know people will be shocked but i am waiting for a book to come about living life as a zen buddhist. I am not converting to buddism but i am going to try and follow some of the principles of living. We will see if it makes a difference!

I went sale shopping today :) I bought a denim playsuit, a sequin blazer, a dress, a bag and a few other little bits and pieces. Right im off to watch ant and decs christmas show

So, today is my moms birthday and we ended up going to Merry Hill. I bought a couple of books, a bowl and also some cereal bars. wow my life is exciting! I have to go now, but better blogs will follow ... when i have my new laptop :D

So sorry i didn't write yesterday. I went to the wedding with Sara and it was sooo good to see her! Shame i had to go home after the meal because i felt so terrible. There is something about dudley that makes me ill. I cant explain, ive been home three times ... the first time i had tonsilitus, the second time i had a cold and this time i have a cold and a tummy bug. Is this a sign?

Going to the dentist tomorrow to sort out my dodgy tooth! Will give a proper update tomorrow evening x

So last night only katy and I turned up ... I think everyone went to the other weatherspoons but we had fun anyway :) We drank pitchers, ate salt and vinegar crisps and then went for a four course meal at pizza express. A double archers and lemonade cost £7.45.

All in all it was a good night, today i am not feeling too good, so i am watching gossip girl and reading zest magazine and trying to perk myself up for the wedding tomorrow when i get to see my Sara tomorrow.

Today i have been pondering something. I have got to stop thinking about things when im bored, however, i have been thinking about my battle with my weight. I went on my first diet when i was 11, thats 8 years ago. Its gone from skipping lunch at school, to gaining weight when i was in love and thought that was going to last.

I've gone from being 9 Stone and thinking I'm absolutely huge, to being 12 Stone and being deluded into thinking i looked great. The picture to the left was taken in Salou, and i was so happy with my figure. I had stopped trying to lose weight and i was in love and content. Whereas now i realise I need to be happy with myself. At the moment im getting there. I need to start eating more, but more of the right foods. Im 10 and a half stone at the moment and as much as i pretend Im happy with it - fact is, Im not.

The photo on the right was taken in disneyland paris when i was almost at my highest weight. I never want to get back to that. So new year is a new start. I am now on a "eat healthy and do lots of exercise" plan which seems to work better than eat as little as possible!

Going out tonight with the Milking Bank lot. I need to decide what to wear ... So ciao for now!

Today we got snow in Leicester!! I was sooo excited, it really made my day. So i had to pop into the library to pick up some books, then i went into town to pay some money into my account and then went to pack and get ready to go home :)

Spent the afternoon with chloe and anita watching movies and reading trashy magazines and then came home :)

That photo was taken 10 months. I cant believe how huge i was then. things have slipped a bit since i started uni, so the goal is to slim down. My first big event? Rocky Horror Show. I want to lose 10lbs by then

So, It has been a long time since i last wrote here, but from today i am making a commitment to update you everyday with a photograph, so all you lovely people who actually care can see what im up to.

Ive been at uni now for 10 weeks, and while it hasnt been an easy ride, i have finished (and passed) my first module and im now about to be let loose on placement. I wont be putting major details about my work on here as it could get me into trouble, however i will update you with any life changing moments!

I met a guy, who is wayy too old for me, but has become one of my best friends, who buys me tea and makes me laugh out loud in lectures ... though he will never make me laugh as hard as the squirrel incident! I confided in him my deepest secret, and he convinced me to tell our group tutor (who happens to have a very nice bum). Although at first i wasnt sure it was what i wanted im now ready to face my demons and get them sorted. I think.

So, besides that, Im realising here who my real friends are, and needless to say i have already met a few self absorbed girls who really do need to take their heads out of there rear ends and have a good long look at the world. However i have also met some people who i know will be friends for life. And im starting to see the difference early on.

I am a little bit battered at the moment, had a nasty reaction to the Swine Flu jab so im a little swollen! But i still went out for Hannahs birthday on monday and got slightly tipsy ... thanks to a certain barman who i may have a slight crush on :)

That said, i am going home tomorrow for some much needed TLC, and seeing some of the amazing friends i have back home! Thats not including the ones who decided to sleep with you-know-who. Its sad, theyve had my leftovers :P
